Sunday 1st May
ARGH! I wrote an update yesterday. WHY HAS KEENSPACE NOT PUBLISHED IT?! *dies*
Anyway. Basic breakdown of what I said. I don't have time (or energy/drive) for JB anymore, so it's gonna be updated every Saturday, as opposed to both Saturday and Sunday. I don't know if I'll continue it after KS runs all the comics I've drawn-- I have plenty of ideas, but like I said, I lack energy and drive.
That said, enjoy. :) Today's JB is... well, a really quick change in plotline, I realize, but it's better than the mini-arc I scribbled out before. I deleted that and did this one as quick replacement. And no, Niki hasn't gone mad. He doesn't usually refer to himself in third person.
I know I said JB'd be up in early April, but... er. Well. It's the first of May. That's still 'early'. So yay, I got it half right. :D;;

Sunday 10th July
I just realized: I asked everyone to send me feedback, and didn't leave an address for people to send it to. Gah, absent-minded.
opalgirlz@hotmail.com. There you go. ^__^
Regarding the comic? Yes, the font has changed. And yes, Cam is violent. Niki'd be too, if his nerdy side didn't keep beating it down with a club.

Saturday 9th July
Update(s) in gallery. The summer holidays began a while back and I've been drawing like a maniac. I'm so far up to the 71st strip, which is actually... well, scary, considering that I've never had the determination to carry anything on for this long before. The first strip I ever drew was in December '03 (got the Keenspace account in January, posted first strip in... January the 17th, I think), so hurrah for me.
I actually like how the two've come out in this strip. Cam, for once, doesn't look retarded, and I love how they look all cuddly in the second panel.
I've actually been having reservations about showing this site out. I don't really like how most of the earlier strips've turned out, and loads of them have this sort of 'rushed' feeling to it (which, really, makes sense, seeing as how I really was rushed to do them). In any case, I've decided to try and ignore the fact that I hate all my earlier strips advertise a little, seeing as how Jailbait is pretty much an unknown comic.
That said... Could I possibly ask anyone who reads this comic to send me feedback? I don't care if it's negative; hey, if a comic's bad, it's the author's job to make it good. You can even just send a "Hi" or something. I'd just like to know if anyone's reading or not. (Not that I'll close the site down if I haven't got readers. Too much love of the sketchbook. :P)
And, a note before I forget. Expect a change in art style around strip #66. The current style's good, but it takes too long.

Thursday 13th May
Update in gallery. Also colored in that filler art I did a while back, but I saved it on a disk and promptly lost it. T_T; I plan to find it tomorrow, so update for tomorrow: colored filler art in gallery, yay!

Monday 26th April
I know the site is very gray. I don't care. Anything is better than that horrible blue. Rachel learned to HTML, yay!
I have exams coming up soon. The only thing I can say is, thank God I drew these a couple months beforehand.

Sunday, 11th April
How Rachel gets her comics done: She draws them all in a huge rush a couple months before publishing, scans and letter them all in one go, then sits back and relaxes for the next couple of weeks.
I'm sure the end panel was meant to be funny. *frowns* I think I kinda forgot the punchline when I was lettering. o_O;;
